Chalet Himalaya is a bright and spacious chalet sitting within its own private grounds, within 450m of the centre of Meribel. Perfect for groups, families or couples to share.
The open-plan layout of this chalet lends itself to socialising; perfect for groups and families who enjoy convivial evenings around our large dining table where our friendly host will serve our excellent 3 course evening meals.
Expect a lovely open plan lounge/diner with a log fire place, Satellite TV and free Wi-Fi access. Guests will also benefit from a new hot tub for the 2017/18 season and a large sun terrace looking across to the slopes of Meribel in the distance. Views also extend up into the mountains of the Olympic ski area for a spectacularly panoramic and sunny outlook.
Chalet Himalaya has 5 fully en-suite bedrooms which can be taken as double/twin or triple with a 3rd bed on a mezzanine accessed via ladder, better suited for kids aged 8yrs +.

To start your days skiing, it is a 50 metre walk to the bus stop where you can catch the free Navette for a 5 minute ride to the Chaudanne slopes and the main lift stations.
Or guests can catch the bus up to the Morel chair lift which is about a 3 minute ride from Chalet Himalaya. If you prefer, you can of course walk to the centre in about 10 to 15 minutes and use the slopes accessed from the elevator behind the Tourist Office

As a good breakfast sets you up for the day, a hearty breakfast is served to all our guests. Breakfasts include Croissants, Pain au Chocolate, fruit, cereal, yogurt, plus a hot option
On return to your chalet after a day on the hill, homemade cakes, bread and jam, fruit, tea & coffee will be laid out for you to enjoy. After a rest and shower from your day hitting the slopes, your chalet chef will serve you a delightful, filling 3 course evening meal including house red & white wine.
Your chalet hosts and cooks take one day off per week and on this day we will provide you with a continental breakfast, including Croissants, Pain au Chocolate, cereals, ham, cheese, fruit juices and tea & coffee (fresh bread will delivered to your chalet on staff day off). We will also lay out afternoon tea. In the evening we request guests take advantage of one of our many local restaurants. (Reservations can be made on your behalf, 48 hours notice required)
Lunches – Our chalets do not provide lunch, but we do offer a packed lunch option (payable locally), this can saves a few €`s on the mountain. Included in our packed lunches is a 1/4 baguette, a packet of crisps, piece of fruit, mini chocolate bar, and a carton of juice.
Prior to your arrival we will ascertain any dietary requirements your party may have and will happily cater to these needs.
Children are served a high tea 2 course evening meal inc. fruit juice, again prior to your arrival we will ascertain any dietary requirements.
