Chalet Germaine

The chalet opens onto a spacious dining/living area. The dining table that can accommodate up to 8 people and comfortable plush seating for up to 7 people, is the perfect place in which to chill out in the evenings, telling tales of the adventures on the snow and, planning new ones for the next day. A large window allows plenty of natural light in and leads onto a balcony.
All three bedrooms are generous and offer en suite bathrooms.
The classic alpine chalet blueprint has been given a modern twist in this chalet with under-floor heating, brand new furnishings and essential features such as ski boot warmers. Free WiFi is also included.
Chalet Germaine is a highly sought after chalet for groups of up to 7 (if you book the whole chalet, an extra fold-down bed is available) thanks to that new chalet atmosphere and great central location in Meribel’s most elevated village.

Location
Chalet Germaine is in an almost unbeatable location in Meribel Mottaret – 120m (approx.) from the blue Piste de la Reserve run, which will take you down to the ski village.
Beginners in the group have a short 250m stroll to the lifts and ski school meeting points if they prefer not to ski.
The ski hire shop is within a minute’s walk, Mottaret’s shops, bars and restaurants are less than 500m away and if you need it, the resort’s free shuttle bus stops about 100m from the chalet.

Chalet catering is based on a hearty set menu which minimises waste and allows us to use locally sourced, high-quality ingredients. Any specific dietary requests must be discussed prior to booking so checks can be made that we can cater for your needs.
Please note this is based on 7-night holidays. Your chalet staff will have 1 day off (Wednesday for the 23/24 season)..
Flights and transfers from the UK. Regional flights. Independent travel and self drive options are also available.
Lift passes can be pre-booked and delivered to your chalet and ski hire organised for you by in-resort teams (extra cost). The chalet is also available on an "all inclusive" basis which includes lift passes and ski/board hire or ski carriage.

In the evening
Enjoy a delicious, freshly cooked 3 course meal with unlimited wine until coffee on 5 nights. On one other night a 2 course Alpine speciality is provided. This gives 6 nights of catering/evening meals.

Chalet Housekeeping
Chalet communal areas will be cleaned and tidied daily, except for staff days off. Bathrooms will be cleaned once mid-week and bins will be emptied.
Tourist Tax - Not Included
A tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour) is levied by local councils in European ski resorts to support the local tourism infrastructure and may include services such as ski buses, subsidised admission to amenities e.g. pools and ice rinks and events such as firework displays. The amount charged varies according to the standard and type of accommodation. It is also not paid by all skiers as it is age-dependent. Therefore it is not included in the basic price of your holiday as we do not have all skiers’ ages at the time of booking.
