Chalet Azalee, is nestled away from the noise of the main road, yet only 5 minutes to the Morel chairlift, and with the ability to ski back to the front door (snow conditions permitting and not for total beginners).
Spread across three floors, Chalet Azalee offers ample space for comfortable living. It's classic interior welcomes guests with a luminous open-plan living area, complete with a cosy log fire.
The dining and sitting room, characterised by its spaciousness and high ceilings, features ample sociable seating to swap stories after a day on the slopes. From the balcony, guests can enjoy spectacular views, adding a touch of serenity to this traditional retreat.
This free-standing chalet offers five spacious twin bedrooms, each with ensuite baths, and some with balconies. All rooms have space for a cot Every bedroom has a full-length mirror, desk, and good clothes storage.
Conveniently neighbouring Chalet Alysson, it's perfect for larger groups who may want to book both properties.(to accommodate up to 24 people in total). The entrance features a good-sized boot room with heated racks, seating, and a separate WC.
The chalet comfortably sleeps 10 people in the five bedrooms, but the property also features two extra children's beds to sleep a maximum of 10 adults and 2 children. Please contact us for details.

Location
Situated in the Morel area of Meribel Centre. The resort centre is about a 10 minute downhill walk away, although if you prefer, you can take one of the frequent free resort buses there and back, which will take around three minutes.
The chalet is about a 250 metre uphill walk in the morning to the Morel chairlift which links into the chairlift at the Alitport area providing great access to 3 Valley's lift network.
If you are booked into lessons starting at La Chaudanne each morning, you will take the free resort bus from close to the chalet to meet your lessons.
The location of the chalet means that if you choose to you can ski right back to the door. It is not recommend for complete beginners and is dependent upon snow conditions..
As you ski down the blue Hulotte piste, you will see the chalet off the path to your right, you can ski to the chalet or continue down the piste to the Morel Chairlift and walk back to the chalet which takes a few minutes.

Chalet catering is based on a hearty set menu which minimises waste and allows us to use locally sourced, high-quality ingredients. Any specific dietary requests must be discussed prior to booking so checks can be made that we can cater for your needs.
Please note this is based on 7-night holidays. Your chalet staff will have 1 day off.
A hearty breakfast
Guests will enjoy a comprehensive continental breakfast for seven mornings with delicious and varied hot options provided by our hosts on five days. On our chalet hosts’ day off, continental breakfast will be laid out.
On your return from the slopes
A freshly baked cake or biscuits with tea and coffee awaits for you on 6 days
In the evening
Enjoy a delicious, freshly cooked 3 course meal with unlimited wine until coffee on 5 nights. On one other night a 2 course Alpine speciality is provided. This gives 6 nights of catering/evening meals.

Chalet Housekeeping
Chalet communal areas will be cleaned and tidied daily, except for staff days off. Bathrooms will be cleaned once mid-week and bins will be emptied.
Tourist Tax - Not Included. A tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour) is levied by local councils in European ski resorts. The amount charged varies according to the standard and type of accommodation. It is also not paid by all skiers as it is age-dependent.
Chalet Enhancements
Packed Lunches - Avoid the queues and expensive mountain restaurants with a 'build-your-own' packed lunch. Available for either 3 or 5 days.

Wifi - In many mountain resorts, signal strength is limited throughout the village not just in individual properties and speeds are not as we are used to in most urban environments in the UK. Streaming of music or films is generally not possible. Wi-Fi or internet access often belongs to the property/chalet owner and is therefore completely out of our control.
For any Wi-Fi access, regardless of the supplier, we cannot guarantee that it will be operative during your holiday.
Flights and transfers from various UK airports are available as well as Independent travel and self drive options.
Lift passes can be pre-booked and delivered to your chalet and ski hire organised for you by in-resort teams (extra cost). The chalet is also available on an "all inclusive" basis which includes lift passes and ski/board hire or ski carriage.
