With bags of chocolate-box charm, Chalet Chocolat sits pretty on the edge of the forest and yet is only a few metres from the main gondola.
In the open plan sitting and dining room there is plenty of seating where you can relax around the fireplace to read, play games or enjoy a drink or two before taking a seat at the table for your evening meal.
The sitting room opens onto a sunny terrace with hot tub – a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and the stunning views.
Included within the chalet is free WiFi, satellite TV, DVD player and various classic board games – plenty to keep everyone entertained in the evenings.
Chalet Chocolat sleeps 10 guests in three twin rooms and two doubles, all with en-suite shower rooms. We can fit additional z-beds in some rooms to accommodate extra guests, and we also have cots available for families with babies. All bed linen, towels and hairdryers are provided in all our chalets.
For those joining us by car, parking is available.

Breakfast
The smell of coffee in the morning will lure you to the breakfast table where you’ll find fresh baguettes, jams and butter alongside yoghurts, cereals, fruit juice and English tea every day.
A hearty cooked breakfast option is provided on four mornings by our team. On the self-service mornings, fresh croissants and pain au chocolats will be delivered with your morning baguettes. If you want to keep on top of your 5-a-day, there’s a fruit bowl available – help yourself!
Afternoon tea
After whizzing around the mountain all day, you’ll probably be famished and you’ll certainly deserve a treat!
When you get back from the slopes you’ll find fresh baguettes, butter and jams as well as biscuits or cake accompanied by a proper cup of English tea or coffee. Everything will be laid out on the table ready and waiting for you to get stuck in
Evening meals
Our chalet hosts will do all the hard work for you so you can make your most of your time of the slopes. They will prepare, cook and serve a delicious dinner-party style evening meal on five evenings during your stay, so that you can relax around the table and not have to lift a finger!
Unlimited wine (choice of red, white and rosé) is served through the meal, and you’ll finish with coffees and teas in the sitting room whilst your host/s take care of the washing up!
Raclette night
On one evening during the week, your hosts will leave everything you need for a traditional ‘raclette’ – an indulgent alpine treat that no ski holiday should be without! You’ll have all the equipment and ingredients – raclette cheese, sliced meats, salad, potatoes (and wine!) – for a party, Savoyard style! Dessert will also be left for you and your hosts will show you how the machine works in advance.
To drink
To accompany your meal, we’ve picked some lovely easy-drinking red and white wine, which is served throughout dinner.
The chalet has an honesty bar with beers and mixers/soft drinks as well as some snacks in case you feel peckish. You’re more than welcome to bring your own drinks and spirits into the chalet, via ‘Duty Free’ or the local supermarket.
For children
For our youngest guests we provide a hearty and healthy meal between at 6.00pm on five evenings so that the grown-ups can relax during their meal later in the evening.
The menu covers family favourites with the aim of providing a few of those all-important five-a-day (as well as some treats for dessert!) On Raclette Night children are welcome to join in the fun, or our hosts can leave something easy to serve if you prefer.
If your child has any special dietary requirement then do please let us know before you arrive. Children’s tea is served with a glass of milk, fruit juice or our lovely mountain water.
For younger babies, our hosts can whizz up some fruit or vegetables, just let us know in advance. Formula milk and jars of baby food are available in our local supermarket.
Dietary requirements
We’re happy to cater for vegetarians as well as our guests with allergies and intolerances at no extra cost.
We do ask that you let us know as much information as possible prior to your arrival so that we can make sure that our hosts can adapt their menu accordingly, which you can do via direct email to our office, or through our online booking system.
Hosts Day Off
The chalet hosts have time off mid-week. On two mornings you’ll have bread delivered to the chalet and can help yourself to breakfast (your host will show you where to find everything). They’ll also leave your afternoon tea laid out and ready to help yourselves to upon your return.
On one evening we provide all you need for a Raclette Night (see above), and on one you will have the opportunity to visit a local restaurant or order a takeaway meal.
Your hosts will therefore be available at your chalet for five mornings and five evenings of your week’s stay.
