Chalet Vanakam

Chalet Vanakam has been furnished to a high standard and offers 4 ensuite bedrooms. There is a large open plan kitchen/dining room/living room with stunning valley views. The chalet is a lovely mixture of old reclaimed wood with contrasting modern touches. The bathrooms and kitchen are high spec. There is underfloor heating throughout the chalet so it will always be cosy. The wood burnng stove is perfect for relaxing in front of after a day on the slopes. The living area is of a good generous size so there is plenty of space for you to have fun with family or a group of friends. 

Access to the slopes is very easy as it is just 30 metres to the free ski bus stop. The bus will take you up to the main lifts at the Chaudanne in no time at all. There is also parking for 2 cars. 

It is a good plan to hire lockers in Meribel. These are found under the main gondolas at the Chaudanne. This enables you to go on the bus up to Meribel in your normal shoes and change into your ski boots and grab your skis when you get to the Chaudanne. It also makes life easier if you have children. Having a wander around Meribel or going swimming or ice skating is so much easier without having your skis and boots with you! 

Lockers cost 50 euros for a week and can take 3 skis and boots per locker. it is 70 Euros for a larger locker. The locker room is very well heated and there are heated boot warmers for all the boots in the lockers. 

The chalet has wifi, UK Freesat TV and French television. There is a DVD player. 

There is a ski and boot room with boot warmers and a ski store. 

The large balcony is perfect for sitting on with some afternoon tea. 

Bed linen and towels are provided. Pets are also allowed. 

Book this chalet on a catered or self catered basis. The chioce is yours. The chalet is also available for rental in the Summer months.
