Chalet La Combe

Chalet La Combe is a charming, traditional alpine chalet located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the old area of Morel just above Méribel town centre. There’s no long hike or bus ride to the snow as it’s a few minutes walk (200 metres) to the Morel chairlift, alternatively, the free ski bus stop is a mere 150 metres.
At the end of the day you can ski right down to the door of the chalet or our minibus driver will pick you up from town in time for evening meal.
The chalet sleeps 10 in 5 lovely bedrooms each with an en-suite, modern bathroom with quality fittings, 2 bathrooms feature jacuzzi baths to relax aching legs.
The living area has been recently sympathetically updated to retain it’s traditional Savoyard style with pine clad walls and many antique accessories. There are comfy, leather sofas grouped around the open log fire. A south facing balcony looks over Méribel to the mountains at the head of the valley.
You can keep an eye on what’s cooking in the open plan dining/kitchen where your chef and host prepare delicious meals.

Ground Floor
Entrance hall with heated boot rack.
Bedroom 1 - a lovely bedroom with double bed, build in wardrobes and ensuite shower room.
Bedroom 2 - a bright and characterful bedroom with 2 twin beds and ensuite shower room.
First Floor
Dining Room - Open plan kitchen and dining room with seating for 10 people. The dining room opens onto a south facing balcony with views of the village and mountain tops.
Bedroom 3 - bedroom with 2 twin beds and ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath.
Second Floor
Lounge - Large lounge with double height ceiling, decorated in a beautiful alpine style with leather corner sofa and cosy open log fire. The lounge opens onto a south facing balcony with mountain views.
Bedroom 4 - bedroom with 2 twin beds and ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath.
Mezzanine Floor
Bedroom 5 - large bedroom with twin beds and ensuite bathroom with bath.
Location
Chalet La Combe is located in the elevated Morel area overlooking Méribel town centre. It’s only 200 metres to the Morel chairlift which will whisk you to the Altiport in minutes from where you can change lifts to go higher or ski down to the main Méribel ski hub at Chaudanne which links to the entire 3 Valleys ski area.
At the end of the day you can ski directly back to the chalet via the Hulotte blue piste (snow permitting). It’s only 150 metres to the bus stop for the free ski bus which runs until midnight so you can easily return from a night out. There are several restaurants, ski shops and a grocery store only 300 metres from the chalet. No problem if you want to drive to Méribel as Chalet La Combe has 2 private, off road parking places.
In-resort minibus service
In the afternoons our shuttle minibus service is available between 8.30-10.30am and 4-7pm, giving you time to enjoy the après ski bars before being driven back to the chalet in time for dinner. This is a shared service between a few other Meribel chalets.
Morning Minibus Service
In the mornings 3 drivers and 3 minibuses will be on hand in a toasty warm vehicles from 08.30 until 10.30 to take you to the slopes and help you load and unload your skis.
Afternoon Minibus Service
Between 16.00 and 19.30 we will have 3 drivers and 3 minibuses available to pick you up from the slopes or the apres ski bars in Meribel and take you back to the chalet.
You can be picked up from, anywhere you wish within Meribel centre, including the popular apres ski bars. For Chalet Les Cabris the driver service extends to Les Allues.

Breakfast - 7 days
Each morning we serve a continental breakfast, which includes fresh bread, croissants, butter, jams and honey, yogurts muesli and cereals, and fruit. We also provide freshly made hot porridge, and cooked options to order. You will leave our ski chalets, full and ready for a day on the slopes.
Afternoon Tea - 7 days
After a full day on the slopes what better way to refuel when you return to our ski chalets than with a freshly brewed tea or coffer and home-made cake? When you get back to the chalet you'll find a plate of cakes or cookies, bread, a selection of jams and teas, coffee or hot chocolate waiting for you.

Dinner - 5 days
We provide three delicious courses on 5 evenings of the week, accompanied with red and white French wines (or beer if you prefer). Everything is freshly prepared in our ski chalet kitchen.
Dietary Requirements
We are used to catering for a variety of dietary requirements including, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose intolerance and a few fussy eaters! If you have a requirement or just don't like certain types of food we do everything we can to ensure you eat well during your stay with us. Just let us know your requirements when you book.
Children's Meals
Children's 2 course meals especially for kids We put as much thought into our children's ski menu as our main menu. For guests aged 12 and under we offer tasty, freshly prepared 2-course children's meals served at an earlier time to the adult's dinner.
Celebrations
If your party would like a ski chalet party just let us know. If you have a birthday, anniversary or engagement to celebrate or would just like a more informal meal or themed meal night contact us for information about the options we can provide.
Staff Days Off
Our lovely team have 2 days off per week. We will leave you a plentiful self-serve continental breakfast for these 2 mornings. For the staff nights off we can recommend some great local restaurants or food delivery services.
