Ski Holidays in Les Menuires

About Les Menuires

Les Menuires is a purpose built ski resort that sits below Val Thorens in the 3 Valleys. It is a more affordable option when compared to the likes of Courchevel so is a popular choice for ski in/ski out apartments and hotels. There are a few catered chalet options but it is mostly hotels and apartments that are on offer. The set up of the resort is aound a horseshoe of 1960's and 70's style apartments. However, there have been recent additions to the village in the form of a more chalet style apartment that has been built of stone and wood.

Skiing and Boarding Les Menuires

As Les Menuires is located at 1850 metres you have access to high snow sure skiing and boarding. Advanced skiers will love the upper slopes of La Masse. They are all either good reds or easy blacks and great fun when freshly groomed. There is also a huge amount of off piste to play in. The Vallon du Lou used to be a marked itinerary run and is now a favourite. Intermediates will enjoy the fact that Les Menuires is easily linked with the rest of the 3 valleys so that you can be at the far end of Courchevel in about 90 minutes! Beginners have a good nursery area to learn in and 5 magic carpets.

Apres Ski in Les Menuires

The resort is not as full on with the partying as the others in the 3 Valley area. However, there are a couple of good bars and night clubs in each of the main areas.
