Chalet Virage

Chalet Virage is a well known chalet that is built over three floors so has stunning valley views. The central location ensures easy access to the slopes as well as the shops, bars and restaurants. The wood burning stove is suspended centrally in the living and dining area and is a real focal point.
The views from the living room and most of the bedrooms are stunning. All bedrooms are light and spacious along with ensuite facilities. They are made up of 2 double bedrooms and 5 twin bedrooms.
The outdoor hot tub is located on the sunny South facing sun deck and perfect for relaxing in at the end of a day. The private cinema room on the first floor with Netflix is fabulous for a good movie after dinner or a day on the slopes.
There is a chalet minibus service to and from the lifts/slopes in the mornings (08.30 - 09.15) and afternoons (16.00 - 18.30).

Location
Chalet Virage is a centrally located chalet in Meribel only a 5-10 minute walk to the resort centre.
There is a chalet minibus service to and from the lifts/slopes in the mornings (08.30 - 09.15) and afternoons (16.00 - 18.30).
You will be able to text your driver from your location in Meribel at the end of your days skiing for a lift back to your chalet.
Meribus is the free bus service which runs regularly from 07:15 to 00:30 seven days per week during the winter, there is a stop just outside the chalet. This service has frequent buses, every 15 minutes, less frequent during the day, but still a few an hour. There is a bus timetable available in the chalet. It has never been easier to travel around Meribel.
There is no evening minibus service, and the minibus is not available on our transfer days.

Breakfast
Start your day the right way with a hearty breakfast. You can expect a continental breakfast each day of croissants, a choice of cereals, porridge, bread and jams, yoghurts, fruit and different types of cooked eggs. There's also fruit juices, and tea and fresh coffee.

Thursday - Day off continental, cheese and cold meats - self serve
Friday - Sausage and eggs

Afternoon Tea
Return to your chalet at tea time to a baked cake or biscuits with tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. This will be laid out as self-serve for you.
Children’s Tea
In our chalets, we offer an early dinner for hungry children. Our hosts will do their best to lay on a healthy menu for the under 13s. We serve tea at around 6 – 6.30 pm. You can view our children’s menu here
Evening Meal
Shortly before dinner, you can enjoy canapés with your fellow guests. Your prepared dinner comprises of three courses, complemented with a choice of four quality French wines. You will also be provided with a cheeseboard of some locally selected cheeses for the week, which you can enjoy at your leisure.
Staff Days Off
Our hosts are off Tuesday evening, all day Thursday and Saturday mornings.
Thursday is our staff's full day off and on this day a continental self-serve breakfast of hams and cheese will be laid out. You will also have fresh bread, cereals, fruit, and yoghurts as usual. You will be able to sample one of the many restaurants on a Tuesday and Thursday evening, our staff will be happy to recommend and help you with the booking of this. This does differ over the festive period.
Cooking in the kitchens
No one other than the chalet hosts are permitted to use the kitchens for cooking. Guests are not permitted to use the kitchens to cook on the staff days off. Alternative breakfast options are provided on the morning off. On the evenings off, you will either need to eat out in one of the many fantastic restaurants or there are take away pizzas options available in Meribel too.

There is also a weeks selection of local cheeses such as Comte, Tomme de Savoie, Beaufort, Bresse Bleu to enjoy with biscuits to enjoy at your leisure.
