Chalet Le Marmotton

Chalet Le Marmotton is a fabulous chalet with 5 bedrooms and a hot tub on it's large South facing terrace.

The chalet has a living room with a sunken fireplace. There is also a wall mounted flat screen TV and DVD player. For children or anyone wanting some peace and quiet there is a small mezzanine with bean bags and games.

The dining room has a large farmhouse table, with room for up to 12 people so perfect for chatting over the days events with a tasty evening meal. The open-plan kitchen/dining area has French windows leading out onto the terrace and the hot tub.

The outdoor hot tub is perfect for easing muscles after a day skiing and boarding the three valleys. There is even an old ski bubble for drying yourself off in after a hot tub.

The ski and boot room has a boot-warmer and ski rack and is located on the ground floor. 


Bedroom 1 - Twin/double room with an ensuite bathroom up a flight of stairs. 

Bedroom 2 -  Small double room with en-suite shower-room.  

Bedroom 3 - Small double with en suite bathroom and small balcony

Bedroom 4 - Twin room with ensuite bathroom.

Bedroom 5 - Twin/double room with ensuite bathroom. It also has steep stairs up to an enclosed mezzanine level with two single beds. The mezzanine has a low sloping ceiling, so is ideal for children, although adults can sleep here, but they wouldn’t be able to stand up whilst getting into bed. Bedroom 5 has a balcony access that leads down to the terrace with the hot-tub.

Bedroom 2, 3 and 5 have wooden shutters on the windows for silent nights.


Chalet Le Marmotton is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac near O’Sullivan’s (formerly Dick’s T Bar), and the main Spar supermarket It’s just below the main centre of Meribel.

There is a courtesy minibus that will run to and from the slopes each day. It is just a 2 minute ride but saves your legs for the skiing! If you want to be independent, then there’s also the free regular Meribel bus service that stops less than 100 yards from the chalet.

It is a 10 minute walk to the resort centre In the evening where you will find an array of shops, bars and restaurants. On four evenings, the chalet minibus service is available, until about 10pm, to take you into town for a bit of après or for dinner on the staff night off.

There is room for 2 cars to park by the chalet.

What's Included

Chalet hosts will look after you during your stay and cook a continental breakfast, freshly made cakes and biscuits for afternoon tea, and a fantastic 3-course evening meal, with canapes, and coffee and chocolates.  Personally-selected fine wines are supplied by Viniguide Ltd and Le Verre Gourmand. Ther is complimentary beer in the chalet and some bubbly to welcome you on the first night.

Chalet staff have one day off, when guests can either cook themselves or head out to one of the many fantastic restaurants in Meribel.  The chalet hosts can recommend and reserve a restaurant for you.

The chalet chauffeur will drop guests off at the slopes each morning and pick you up in the afternoon.  Available until 10am and from 4pm but you can ask nicely and often be picked up or dropped off earlier or later.
