This is a lovely chalet located on the piste at the base of the Tougnete bubble lift. The chalet sits above Les Castors piste side restaurant. (The restaurant is only open for lunch so there is no noise at night.) The outdoor hot-tub on the balcony is perfect for watching the world go by after a day on the slopes. It is just a 2 minute walk across the piste to the Chaudanne and the resort centre with all that Meribel has to offer. The chalet itself has plenty of character and lots of space. There is a lovely stone fireplace to relax in front of with afternoon tea. The chalet is not cutting edge and modern but more traditional apine chalet. Some of the loos are not en suite and two of the bedrooms share a bathroom but what you lose in modern convenience you gain in character and location.
The chalet is almost like a James Bond alpine hut that is found on the mountain with stone walls, wooden ceiling, a roaring fire and lots of cosy furnishings. It would suit either three couples or two families.
