Chalet La Fugue
Sleeps up to 12 (10 + 2)
La Fugue is one of Meribel's original chalets, architecturally and authentically Meribel. First built in the renowned local style and blending perfectly with its alpine surroundings. There is no vehicle access in winter, guests will delight in the magical setting of this chocolate box chalet.
There is a mixed modern style with the original classic chalet. The lounge and kitchen area are on the first floor, where there are breathtaking views of the Meribel ski area from the stone and wood-clad lounge. There is a large open fireplace with soft sofas and an open plan dining area.
An additional smaller lounge /TV room on the ground floor is ideal for children or teenagers to catch a film or play and give the adults some additional space in the main lounge.
There are five bedrooms over three floors, one of the rooms is a family room with an adjoining smaller twin cabin room able to sleep two children.
The chalet sleeps 12 and is ideally suited to 10 adults and 2 children. The four bathrooms and three WCs are shared by the cosy and tastefully decorated bedrooms.
This chalet can only be booked out for sole use.

Location
Right in the centre of Meribel, access to the chalet is via an escalator next to the Tourist Office. There is a short walk across the piste to get to the chalet, so you will need snow boots, but in the morning you can put your skis on and ski directly into La Chaudanne, the main lift area.
In the evenings, you may not want to leave the comfort of the chalet with its roaring fire and spectacular view, however, if you do, it is very convenient for a quick taste of Meribel's bars and restaurants.
The idyllic, ski in ski out location is going to be popular with keen skiers and families wishing for a magical experience and a holiday not to be forgotten.

Breakfast
Start your day the right way with a hearty breakfast. You can expect a continental breakfast each day of croissants, a choice of cereals, porridge, bread and jams, yoghurts, fruit and different types of cooked eggs. There's also fruit juices, and tea and fresh coffee.

Afternoon Tea
Return to your chalet at tea time to a baked cake or biscuits with tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. This will be laid out as self-serve for you.
Children’s Tea
In our chalets, we offer an early dinner for hungry children. Our hosts will do their best to lay on a healthy menu for the under 13s. We serve tea at around 6 – 6.30 pm. You can view our children’s menu here
Evening Meal
Shortly before dinner, you can enjoy canapés with your fellow guests. Your prepared dinner comprises of three courses, complemented with a choice of four quality French wines. You will also be provided with a cheeseboard of some locally selected cheeses for the week, which you can enjoy at your leisure.
Staff Days Off
Our hosts are off Tuesday evening, all day Thursday and Saturday mornings.
Thursday is our staff's full day off and on this day a continental self-serve breakfast of hams and cheese will be laid out. You will also have fresh bread, cereals, fruit, and yoghurts as usual. You will be able to sample one of the many restaurants on a Tuesday and Thursday evening, our staff will be happy to recommend and help you with the booking of this. This does differ over the festive period.
Cooking in the kitchens
No one other than the chalet hosts are permitted to use the kitchens for cooking. Guests are not permitted to use the kitchens to cook on the staff days off. Alternative breakfast options are provided on the morning off. On the evenings off, you will either need to eat out in one of the many fantastic restaurants or there are take away pizzas options available in Meribel too.

Each evening with your meal you will also enjoy a choice of four wines is available during your evening meal.
There is also a weeks selection of local cheeses such as Comte, Tomme de Savoie, Beaufort, Bresse Bleu to enjoy with biscuits to enjoy at your leisure.
