This superbly positioned chalet is in a prime location. Just a few minutes stroll to the Olympe lift gives you direct access to the Meribel slopes and is your gateway to the fantastic 3 valleys ski area.
Chalet Covie benefits from its central spot within easy reach of the skiing, shops, lively bar and restaurants in this lovely alpine village.
It offers all the comfort and space you could wish for. Built tastefully and to exacting high standards, it is extremely popular. It has the added feature of outdoor hot-tub, a great way to relax and unwind in a magnificent mountain setting.
The bright generous lounge and dining room has stunning views which can also be enjoyed from its large south facing sun terrace. The comfortable lounge area is warm and inviting with a cosy log fire.
The chalet comfortably sleeps 10-12 & can take up to 14 if you wish to fill to capacity.
It comprises 5 ensuite bedrooms.
On the ground floor = 3 x twin ensuites
On the top floor = 2 x 3/4 bed ensuites.
On the top floor there are 2 generous sized 3/4 bedded ensuites comfortably sleeping 3 and can take up to 4 with their own balconies.
One of the bedrooms has an adjoining annex which offers 2 separate sleeping areas making it ideal for a group/family of 4.
The other top floor bedroom has 3 standard single beds and 4th foldaway bed can be added.
On the ground floor the 3 x twin bedrooms have their own en-suite shower rooms.
The chalet enjoys the best of modern technology and traditional architecture with under-floor central heating, individual room temperature control, large double glazed windows and wonderful views.
Chalet Covie, is ideal for a group of friends, couples or several families.
A popular choice for large groups is to combine with Foehn, Charmille & L’Erine . All chalets are just neighbouring each other.

Location
Chalet Covie is centrally located within the Meribel village of Les Allues. It is just a few minutes walk to the Olympic gondola and is also close to the shops, bars and restaurants.

There is an excellent free 'Meribus' shuttle service operated by the resort. The Meribel valley consists of several very pretty inter-linked villages and the bus service connects them all.
It runs between Meribel Les Allues and Meribel centre, plus it runs to Meribel village, Meribel Rond Point, Meribel Altiport and Meribel Mottaret too.
It is completely free and offers a very regular service from the village of Meribel Les Allues up to Meribel centre from 07:30am to half-past midnight EVERYDAY. Journey time 10 mins.
After the lifts have closed you may want to shop in town or have a few drinks and come down at your leisure.
If you want to enjoy the apres ski, restaurants, live music, cinema or sporting facilities in Meribel centre in the evening time, then access to the centre is easy with this free shuttle service.
There are taxis which run all through the night, if you are going for an all nighter at O'sullivans nightclub.

What's Included
Breakfast: 5 mornings a week of staffed breakfast service. 2 mornings of self-service breakfast of cold options to help yourselves to (on the hosts mornings off).
Afternoon Tea: Provided 5 afternoons during the week.
Evening Meals: 5 nights a week of catered service. This comprises of a 3 course meal on 4 nights and a simpler 2 course meal on 1 other night
2 evenings to enjoy lovely local, reasonably priced restaurants, or a choice of takeaway options on the hosts nights off.
Breakfast: A satisfying selection at breakfast time, which varies between hot & cold options with a daily selection of cereals, yogurts, French bread, butter, jams, honey, nutella, all topped off with as much tea, coffee & fruit juices as you like.
Afternoon tea: Arrive home to the chalet after a day on the mountain and this will be be waiting for you, with a variation of either homemade cakes or cookies. Also on offer are baguettes with butter, honey and jams, tea, coffee, squashes.
The chalets all have a fully stocked tea/coffee station, so please help yourselves to refreshments whenever you like.
Evening meal: This comprises a homemade, 3 course set menu accompanied by complimentary wine on 5 nights. Please take a look at our Sample Menu plan
Vegetarian Menu: We are very happy to provide a vegetarian alternative.
Children’s menu: Children are well catered for with the preparation of home-cooked favorites.
In all our chalets, early teas can be provided (served from 6pm onwards) for young children (under 12's).
This is a simpler 2 course menu designed with youngsters in mind. If your kids have any strong dislikes, be sure to let us know in advance too!
You can choose to have an earlier family friendly dinner all together, we will provide a simpler style of the 'adult menu' for children in the group or you can choose a separate tea-time for the children and dinner for the adults later. Prior to your holiday we will gather this information and find out if you prefer early teas, or all to eat together & we will be prepared for your arrival.
Special Dietary requirements: Please note, we provide a varied set menu throughout the week with the aim of catering for the whole chalet. Whilst we try to be flexible with reasonable dietary requests, it is difficult for our Chalet Hosts to accommodate & run several different menus at the same time, if there are a lot of varying dietary requirements within the group.
Please therefore, advise us in advance if you have a specific allergy & need to avoid gluten, dairy or lactose, and we will make adaptations to our daily set menu, so these can be avoided.
